🎁 Holly Day Market — This Friday - Sunday at Kentucky Horse Park

A great chance to shop for holiday gifts, decorations, toys, clothes, ornaments, art and more. Vendors from around the country will be in town, which makes it a fun outing for families and gift-hunters alike.

🎁 “Illumination at Ashland” - This Saturday

“Illumination at Ashland” is a heartwarming annual event at Ashland that signals the start of the holiday season with twinkling lights, a towering Christmas tree, seasonal treats, and plenty of family fun. It’s a community favorite for good reason — the mix of history, holiday cheer, and a gorgeous setting makes it one-of-a-kind in Lexington.

🎄 Winter Village at Gatton Park — Ongoing Through the Season

Evening hours throughout the season — events this weekend include:

  • Friday, Dec 5: Black Santa Lexington & The Lexington Singers at 6:00 PM 
  • Saturday, Dec 6: Stilt-walkers and jugglers take the stage from 6:00–7:30 PM. 

Picture a glowing winter wonderland — a soaring, 80-foot illuminated Christmas tree, festive lights, interactive games, holiday crafts, seasonal drinks, and lots of family-friendly fun. It’s a magical night out for families — give the kids a seasonal treat (and maybe cocoa), stroll the lights, catch the entertainment, and soak up the holiday spirit.

🌠 Southern Lights at Kentucky Horse Park — Nightly Lights + Santa & Animal Land

Nightly through December 31, 5:30–10:00 PM. Enjoy a three-mile drive-through extravaganza of twinkling lights, with options to park and wander through “Animal Land,” take mini-train rides, browse the gift shop, meet Santa, and enjoy festive food.
