Hop aboard the 2025 Easter Bunny Train for a delightful springtime journey. Join us on Saturday, April 19, for a fun-filled pre-Easter celebration.
Experience the beauty of spring as we travel the rails, surrounded by blooming flowers and lush greenery. The Easter Bunny will be on board to meet and greet passengers, making this a magical experience for all ages.
Choose your preferred seating option:
* First Class offers heating and air conditioning for a comfortable ride.
* Coach Class features vintage commuter-style cars with open windows.
* Locomotive Cab Ride provides the best view from the front with the engineer. (Maximum capacity of two passengers. For safety reasons, these passengers must be able to climb aboard and descend from the locomotive unassisted.)
Enjoy a memorable 90-minute trip, including a mid-ride stop for a scenic view of the Kentucky River Palisades from Young’s High Bridge.
Arrive early to explore the Bluegrass Railroad Museum and its model train exhibit. Boarding begins at 1:30 p.m and the train departs promptly at 2:00 p.m.
This event is fully handicap accessible, with space for standard-sized wheelchairs in the open-window coach cars. Please note that restroom facilities are available at the museum station but NOT on the train itself.
For parking, cross the railroad lines on Beasley Road as you come off US 62 and you'll find a large parking lot to your left with ample spaces.
